These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MilatuCases platform, operated by Linksys ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing MilatuCases you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the authority to bind your law firm or organisation, and accept these Terms.
MilatuCases is a cloud-based legal practice management platform. We provide tools for case management, billing, document storage, calendar management, and related functions. The platform is provided on a subscription basis.
You agree not to:
Subscriptions are billed as selected (monthly, 6-monthly, or annually) and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' notice.
You retain full ownership of all data and content you upload to MilatuCases. We act as a data processor on your behalf. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your data. See our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy for details on how we handle data.
All intellectual property rights in the MilatuCases platform, including software, design, and content produced by us, remain the property of Linksys. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linksys shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
We aim for 99.9% uptime. Scheduled maintenance and factors outside our control may cause temporary unavailability. We will provide reasonable advance notice of planned downtime.
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access ends and we will retain your data for 90 days before deletion, unless you request earlier deletion.
The same 90-day retention and deletion policy applies in the following situations:
During the 90-day retention window you may reactivate your account (by completing payment or contacting us) to restore access to your data. After 90 days, deletion is permanent and irreversible. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zambia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zambia.
