Linksys, the company behind MilatuCases, is committed to protecting the personal and professional data of law firms and their clients. We design our systems with a privacy-first approach and comply with applicable data protection laws.
All data at rest is encrypted using AES-256, the same standard used by financial institutions.
All data transmitted between your browser and our servers uses TLS 1.2 or higher.
Role-based access controls ensure users can only see data relevant to their role.
Automated daily backups with point-in-time recovery ensure your data is never lost.
All significant actions within the system are logged and available for review.
We conduct periodic security assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities.
Your data is stored on securely hosted servers. We do not transfer your data outside of your agreed hosting region without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
We work with a limited number of trusted third-party processors (e.g., email delivery, cloud hosting). All processors are bound by data processing agreements and are required to maintain appropriate security standards. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by applicable law. We will provide details of the breach, the data affected, and the steps we are taking to address it.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active, plus 90 days after closure. You may request earlier deletion at any time. Some data may be retained longer where required by law (e.g., billing records).
You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. Submit a request to info@milatucases.com and we will respond within 30 days.
As a law firm using MilatuCases, you are the data controller for your clients' personal data stored in the platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate legal bases for processing that data and for meeting your obligations to your clients under applicable data protection law.
